Interviews with Internationals

How do internationals experience the Leiden region? What are the challenges they face, and how do they overcome them? To find an answer to these questions we asked people from our community to talk us through their journeys. These stories are now collected on our website for everyone to discover.

Meet&Mingle Goes Dutch

Our monthly social events consistently attract 30-50 internationals. We also encourage socialising with Dutch locals by organising special XL editions of the Meet&Mingle. These have been planned in partnership with Leiden Municipality, Leiden Bio Science Park and 3 Oktober Vereeniging. The next M&M XL will take place during Dutch Bio Science Week.

LBSP Focus Group

We strive to monitor and understand the trends in internationalisation. This is why we collaborated with Leiden Bio Science Park and researchers from KplusV to host a focus group to better understand the needs of international talent. The focus group took place on 16 May and will be organised again later in the year to gather more insights.

Meet Our New Communication and Events Professional

In April we welcomed Sibilla Gosso to the team. Originally from Italy, Sibilla moved to Leiden three years ago for her studies.
