Have you heard we have a new name? Expat Centre Leiden will now continue as Leiden International Centre (LIC). You can read more about this decision below. Apart from this, this month's newsletter includes an interview with Julie from Buzz Business Network on what it's like to set up a business in the Netherlands. You will also find interesting articles on how to improve your Dutch, or how to travel by train using your bank card. Finally, there are some upcoming events such as the HBK's information session on the Dutch tax system, free of any costs.

Name Change: Leiden International Centre

From now on, Expat Centre Leiden (ECL) will continue as Leiden International Center (LIC). We are changing our name as it better reflects the identity of the knowledge workers in the Leiden region. Read the press release here.

Free Entrance to Museum De Lakenhal

From February 1st there will be a photo exposition on different crafts and craftsmanship from different cultures, the official opening takes place on the 9th of February with Dr. Erik de Maaker.
